With the 680 HY StarGate the new era for BCS multifunctional motor mowers has begun!

The new, completely redesigned, transmission opens up the approach to the machine with hydrostatic drive for a wide pool of users: from hobby farmers to professional farmers, and from individuals to the greenery caretaker.

In addition, the new driving position makes using the professional motor mowers for mowing grass and greens maintenance even easier, more intuitive and comfortable.

HY | Continuously variable transmission

The user of the 680 HY StarGate motor mower is given an advantage by the continuously variable transmission (CVT), especially in case of terrain that is irregular, sloping, when manoeuvring around obstacles and in general in cases where machine speed and direction are often changed.

The manoeuvre does not require any action on the clutch and gear levers, it simply requires adjustment of the EasyGrip lever positioned on the handlebar without releasing the driving handlebars for greater comfort in total safety.

Thanks to specific technical solutions, the Honda Alps gasoline engines make it possible to work even on slopes exceeding a 30-degree gradient without loss of performance or any failures.

Driving Position

The driving position, with height and side adjustable handlebars, has been completely redesigned and is now equipped with:

• Motorcycle handlebar levers which are even more comfortable to operate.
• Knobs with soft non-slip grip.
• Forward motion command with EasyGrip lever to continuously vary the speed and direction of the machine.
• New silent-blocks to reduce vibrations.

Safety

• Forward motion of the machine only allowed by keeping the red safety lever activated
• PowerSafe hydraulic clutch that ensures immediate stop of the machine and attachment when the operator accidentally releases the handlebars
• Independent working brakes on the two wheels and enclosed in cast iron housings
• Lever parking brake acting on both wheels

Greater comfort in total safety

With hydrostatic transmission, the forward speed can be changed continuously and independently, both from the PTO as well as from the engine’s rotation speed.

The work conditions are thus more relaxed and comfortable, especially in difficult operational situations and during manoeuvres.
